Russell is a spunky, social and energetic two-year-old. After his first birthday, he and his sister were diagnosed with an incredibly rare and devastating mitochondrial condition called non-ketotic hyperglycinemia (LIAS variation). Russell has spent the first two years of his life with chronic colic. Despite his condition and limitations, he still finds ways to thrive and his smile and laugh are memorable and never-ending. Russell is a joyful, sweet boy and his parents have great dreams for his future.
